The project, supported by Engineers Without Borders (EWB-USA) involved installing 20 handwashing facilities into five primary schools of Kasulu town council and, four primary schools of Biharu ward in Buhigwe district and one secondary school in Biharu ward of Buhigwe district, reaching a total 15,000 beneficiaries
