Mydia-tz and KITE Dar es Salaam with the support from Cambridge Development Initiatives (CDI), UK undertook a project on Water and Sanitation, aiming at access to safe and clean drinking water, sanitation and hygiene facilities at Vingunguti ward of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. While KITE Dar es Salaam constructed the water system and community Latrines, Mydia-tz took part in the Sanitation and Hygiene awareness to the community, whereby it conducted a two days Hygiene promotion training for 100 WASH committee members and community representatives of the Vingunguti ward in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
The project has served a total of 9,342 community members of Vingunguti ward.
